Leading industry magazine eGaming Review hosted a ceremony last Friday September 19 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, to award the top 19 companies in the gaming business.
eGaming Review bestows awards in a wide variety of categories, including Poker, Sportsbooks and Casino of the Year as well as more specific awards: Innovation of the year, Green operator of the year, Socially responsible operator of the year.
We got a statement from this year’s Hotshot Operator, PKR.com. We asked a spokesperson to tell us how they felt at PKR.com about winning the prize and what they had done to deserve it, and this is what she said:
We have built our presence in the industry from scratch and without ever taking US bets. With a great product and hard work, we have managed to bring in over 1 million registered users in just 12 months. We have also launched two new products (embedded blackjack and Deal Or No Deal), started our own TV programme featuring our top tournaments, and have printed two issues of our customer magazine, Stacked. We really look to be proactive and we are very proud of our award in this category.
